Widely used as a hold down nut on springs, the HF nut features strong, one piece, cold forged construction which has a hexagon shaped body with a large round flange. The wide flange allows the HF nut to be ARC welded in place. It may also be used to bridge oversize holes or where extra bearing surface is required for additional strength, or to prevent embedding.
